It is an enterosorbent with a porous structure, designed to stop diarrhea and remove harmful substances, viruses and pathogenic bacteria from the body. Enterosgel^® is not absorbed by the mucosa of the gastrointestinal tract, so it does not enter the bloodstream and is completely safe to use. This remedy can be used by pregnant women and children. Acute diarrhea

Enterosgel^® is effective for diarrhea of ​​various origins - food poisoning, viral or bacterial infection (rotavirus, E. coli infection, salmonellosis, dysentery, giardiasis), dysbacteriosis (for example, after taking antibiotics), with irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory diseases of the digestive tract (gastritis, duodenitis, gastroduodenitis, enteritis, colitis, enterocolitis).

Enterosgel^® has a selective effect on intestinal bacteria: it has a bactericidal effect on pathogenic microflora, while normal microflora (lactobacteria, bifidobacteria) is not affected because it is firmly attached to the intestinal mucosa. Enterosgel^® also binds and removes viruses (rotavirus, cytomegalovirus and others).

The tool removes the products of the death of microorganisms and their vital activity, and also restores the immune protection of the intestinal mucosa.

Enterosgel^® instructions for use in diarrhea

Enterosgel^® is more effective if it is consumed within the first hours of poisoning. Therefore, start using Enterosgel^® as soon as the first signs of poisoning appear!

When starting acute diarrhea treatment with Enterosgel^®, the first standard dose can be doubled, and further treatment can be continued with standard doses after each bowel movement, i.e. i.e 3-6 times a day. No more than 8 doses can be taken on the first day.
From the second day, treat with standard doses and frequency. In case of acute diarrhea, 3-5 days of treatment with Enterosgel^® is usually sufficient.

Recommendation for restoration of intestinal microflora

Enterosgel^® creates favorable conditions for the development of good intestinal microflora, but it is not a probiotic or prebiotic. For those who want an even better effect on the digestive system and the whole body, we recommend using the complex of good intestinal bacteria Elbifid.

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)

Enterosgel^® is used for chronic diarrhea due to irritable bowel syndrome (which must be diagnosed by a doctor).

In patients with IBS, Enterosgel^® inhibits diarrhea, abdominal pain, reflux, level of dyspepsia and the manifestation of other digestive system symptoms. The most noticeable changes are that bowel movements become less frequent up to 7 times a week, the nature of stools normalizes and pains decrease.

Enterosgel^® instructions for use in diarrhea due to irritable bowel syndrome

In the treatment of chronic diarrhea, Enterosgel^® is recommended for 1 hour. before eating. You can adjust the standard dosage depending on the consistency of the feces and the frequency of bowel movements. You can take a double dose 3 times a day if the stool is liquid, or reduce the frequency of use to 1 time if the stool becomes normal. Take no more than 6 doses per day.

In case of chronic diarrhea due to irritable bowel syndrome, the duration of Enterosgel^® treatment course can be up to 21 days.

Note: Stop treatment with Enterosgel^® if you have not had a bowel movement for 1-2 days, drink more water and continue treatment after you have a bowel movement.

Selectivity

Enterosgel^® is an oral suspension with a solid porous three-dimensional structure based on organic silicon. The size of the gel mesh corresponds to the size of the molecules of many harmful substances - from 70 to 1000 a. v , which it selectively absorbs like a "smart sponge". Useful substances (microelements, vitamins, etc.) ) this preparation does not absorb.

Efficiency

Enterosgel^® is 5 mmol/g, i.e. i.e 2 - 2.5 times higher than other types of sorbents.

Security

Enterosgel^® is non-toxic and harmless, highly biocompatible with body tissues and biosubstrates. It does not damage the mucous membranes of the digestive tract, has an enveloping and cytoprotective effect, protects the mucous membrane from chemical and mechanical effects, and thus creates ideal conditions for the recovery of mucous membranes, their microcirculation and physiological mucus production. Unlike hydrophilic sorbents, which can cause intestinal atony if used for a long time (more than 10 days), Enterosgel^® is hydrophobic, does not stick to the intestinal mucosa, so even long-term treatment with it does not cause digestive tract atony.

Possible side effects are short-term and harmless, and their list is extremely short: possible constipation (to avoid this, just drink more water while taking Enterosgel!) and in very rare cases, nausea.

Enterosgel^® is contraindicated only for people with intestinal obstruction, severe constipation due to intestinal obstruction, as well as those taking extended (controlled) release drugs, and if intolerance to this preparation was previously observed.
