Effect: RemovAcid® is a mechanically acting medical device, the anti-reflux effect is guaranteed by its sodium alginate, mucopolysaccharides HMW – a chemical compound consisting of the sodium salt of alginic acid, which, after taking the preparation orally , enters the gastric cavity, where it inevitably interacts with the gastric juice contained therein. Here it absorbs water, swells due to an ongoing chemical-physical reaction, forming a gelatinous colloidal mass (raft) that floats on the contents of the stomach and forms a kind of low-density gel, which in turn forms a film over the contents of the stomach. The viscosity of the syrup allows for even distribution in the gastro-oesophageal region, so that the ingredients can perform the function of adhesion to the mucosa and promote the contact of the substances with the irritated mucous membranes.

Intended Use: RemovAcid® is an oral medicine for the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux. It is prescribed to adults and children over 12 years of age for gastric pyrosis, esophagitis, dysphonia, irritating cough and regurgitation of gastric contents caused by gastric reflux. RemovAcid® works mechanically and performs 3 synergistic actions: blocks acid reflux, protects the esophageal mucosa and reduces the burning sensation.

Usage: a single dose of 15 ml is used after main meals and before bedtime or according to other doctor's instructions. Shake well before use.
