What is Dermatix® Ultra Gel?
Dermatix® Ultra is a topical clear silicone gel that
dries quickly and helps maintain the skin's moisture balance, and is indicated for skin scars
formed after surgical procedures. procedures, burns and other injuries,

Dermatix® Ultra gel has been found to smooth, soften and reduce
scars,
eliminate itching and discomfort at the scar site, and also

Dermatix® Ultra Gel is a colorless, odorless, non-greasy gel that is easily applied
to various areas of the skin, including the face, joints and folds. It
dries quickly,
covering the skin with an invisible "film" and providing a soft, silky
feel.
Dermatix® Ultra Gel is formulated using the same base long-chain
polymers as topical silicone tapes in production, only it
supplied
in a tube. This gel is composed of cyclic and polymeric siloxanes and
vitamin C ester. The gel is sold in 6 g, 15 g or 60 g tubes.*
What is Dermatix® Ultra gel used for?
Dermatix® Ultra gel is used for keloid and hypertrophic scars (formed
after general surgical procedures, traumatic wounds or burns)
ideal for treatment and prevention when the wound and skin surface have already healed.
It can also be used for red scars that heal quickly
; mostly for wounds that healed two years ago.
How to use Dermatix® Ultra gel?
Unscrew the cap of the tube, carefully cut off the tip of the tube (for the 60 g tube
remove the foil cap). Wash the damaged surface and dry with a tissue. Dermatix® Ultra gel can only be applied to clean, dry skin. Gently
massage a small amount of Dermatix® Ultra into the scar; wipe off excess gel with a
towel to avoid staining clothes. Use twice a day: once in the morning
and once in the evening for at least two months; however, large scars may
need to be treated longer. After the Dermatix® Utra gel dries, cosmetics can be used.
Dermatix® Ultra is also suitable for use by children.
When should you not use Dermatix® Ultra gel?
• Dermatix® Ultra should not be used on open or fresh wounds.
• Dermatix® Ultra should not be applied to mucous membranes or close to the eyes.
• Dermatix® Ultra should not be applied to other skin treatments without consulting
a doctor.
What are the possible side effects of Dermatix® Ultra gel?In rare cases, the gel may cause skin redness, pain or irritation.
If you are concerned about these or other side effects, talk to your doctor
or pharmacist.
How to store Dermatix® Ultra?
• Store out of the sight and reach of children.
• Store below 25 °C, away from heating sources.
• Do not use after the expiration date of the gel indicated on the package.
